Handmade Sword
Crane Katana β 1045 Carbon Steel, Clay Tempered, Hand Forged, Full Tang, Battle Ready
SKU: 717
This Crane Katana celebrates the crane β Japan's symbol of longevity and good fortune for millennia, understood by samurai families who knew beauty and lethal precision are never separate. The scabbard uses deep forest green piano lacquer finished with a black and gold metallic bubble treatment β an unusual color choice that makes this saya immediately distinctive among katana, the green lacquer base giving the metallic surface particles a cooler, more naturalistic quality than the same technique applied to red or black. Hand-forged from 1045 high carbon steel, heat tempered and fully inspected before leaving our California warehouse. A capable, durable katana for collectors and practitioners who want proven steel without overcomplication.
